Developed graphical user interfaces for a number of professional audio products using Visual BASIC 6.0 and created custom artwork for all software interfaces, including software interfaces created by all other programmers at Symetrix, using Photoshop CS. Created custom software for the 88192 code converter, software interfaces for all DSP products in the MARS product line, and created all artwork for SymNet Controller using Photoshop CS. Performed testing on all hardware and software products prior to release.

Designed automated measurement and diagnostics equipment for a variety of digital and analog multi-channel audio products such as digital mixers and multi-channel commercial power amplifiers, designed mechanical test fixtures and test beds, network cards, expansion modules, MIDI interfaces and serial interfaces. Generated PCB layouts for all circuit designs using PADS. Wrote diagnostics software using Python scripts and Visual BASIC 6.0 for interfacing with custom hardware and Audio Precision hardware, wrote Audio Precision test procedures using VBA, and wrote formal test procedure documentation for various products manufactured by Biamp. Wrote digital audio mixer and DSP code modules for proprietary BiampWin products using Visual C++ and several stand-alone digital mixer and DSP interfaces in Visual BASIC. Wrote custom software for OEM products such as AMX and Crestron controllers, commercial DSP products, and stand-alone multi-track recording and MIDI sequencing software packages in Visual BASIC. Created original artwork for all software interfaces using a variety of graphics editing software.

Designed peripherals for hand-held laser barcode scanners such as network cards, code converters and a variety of I/O interfaces. Wrote software-based code converters, an inventory control database using Visual BASIC 3.0 and a custom command interpreter in Power BASIC. Designed test fixtures for a variety of barcode related products. Designed the MX-8 and MX-16 product line of networking multiplexers for Hollywood Video, generated all PCB layouts using OrCad and oversaw the manufacturing of all hardware designs while developing a manufacturing process flow for maximum throughput.

Designed custom timer circuits, test fixtures and measurement hardware as well as data acquisition systems and an EPROM programmer. Generated PCB layouts using OrCad and oversaw the manufacturing of all hardware designs. Wrote formal test procedure documentation, a variety of OrCad converters and graphics converters using Power BASIC and wrote firmware and software interfaces for credit card terminals using a proprietary programming language created by Verifone called TCL.
